About This Series:
Salt Lake City is fascinating. It is an island of liberalism in an ocean of conservatism. I wasn't sure what to think of the place when I moved here in 2007, but it continually surprises me. It is more wonderful than I expected.

One of the first thing I did when I got up here was walk around documenting every scratch, mark, line, piece of duct tape I could find. It is an old city filled with dirt, decay and beauty.

This is Markmaking: SLC2007.
